Join The Tribe Tour Heads For Texas

After selling out the first 6 of 8 shows in the northeast U.S., the “Join The Tribe Tour” heads for Texas this week starting with a sold-out show tonight in Texarkana. The band will visit Longview on Friday. On Saturday the boys will make an appearance at “Acquire The Fire” in Fort Worth, followed by rare visit to south Texas on Sunday.

I wanted to go to the show in Longview, but my family didn’t think about ordering tickets until we heard that the show was sold out. And I was really looking forward to it…
Guess I’ll just have to wait until May 5 to hear some new songs from you guys. Oh well.

This is our 3rd time to see you guys … ’03 in FL, ’08 in MO, and last night in our little town of Texarkana, AR. You guys were just five minutes from my house and at the church where my husband teaches school. I wanted to invite you over for “supper!”

So awesome (and no surprise) that your shows are selling out! Have a blast in Texas and at ATF. Still wish you guys were going to be at our ATF in Fresno, but I will see you in Bakersfield the night before! Doing ATF setup that day and then volunteering Fri. & Sat. at ATF – between your show & ATF I should be wiped out by Sunday! But that’s a good kind of wiped out.

Just came back from the Longview, TX concert to my home near Houston. I’m the “tambourine lady,” a Global Tribe volunteer and monthly donor.
Here is my review: WOW! God was present, the worship was awesome, and we had Godly fun.
If I had time and space, I would tell you in detail what happened before, during, and after the concert. How Satan throws wrenches at us, knowing that God is at work. But also how God is always the winner.
Also, good to hear the opening bands, and good to see Mr. Jody Davis back in the game!
You, your crew, and the bands traveling with you are in our prayers.

AHHH u guys were so awesome in hidalgo todayy =D… u rockedd the dodge arena.. already started telling other people about the amazingness! awesome praise and worship and music. I had so much funn and so did the group of friends i brought for whom this was their first concert ever. Praise God! =D

I have been a fan for many years, but this is the first time seeing the show. It was so awesome worshiping the Lord with such great talent! Thanks for all you do, Im sure it comes at a personal sacrifice of sorts. My teen son lifted his hands to the Lord last night!! Awesome.

I had an opportunity to see the Dodge Arena Show (Hidalgo, TX). This was one class act. From beginning to end, the show was awesome. I’ve been listening to you guys since the late 80′s. This has been one of the best concerts I have ever attended period. Keep up the good work! Welcome aboard Michael and blessings to you Peter. Hopw you guys can come back to the Valley soon..

Just left the Bakersfield,Ca show. When we learned Peter wasn’t there I was worried. Well that lasted about 1 minute. INCREDABLE. We saw them the last time they were here and I enjoyed this show just as much. Yes we will miss Peter but the new newsboys are incredable. I think what everyone forgets the newsboys arn’t just one person. But a group. Great concert .

God bless you guys. I have seen the newsboys over 20 times now and never get tired of seeing them honor our lord. Peter, you were great and it seem strange not seeing you up there. God bless you and your family. Im glad you are still with the band behind the scenes. Mr Tate, you were great. God bless you with the band. It looked like you had a blast up there in Redlands. Just saw you lead the worship and preach last night in Modesto CA. I along with my wife of 17 years and two children 11 & 14. We were in the front row (your right) along the side of the cat walk. We were all praying for you during the show, sermon, we love GOD, you and the Newsboys too.

Hey Guys you continue to be awesome and bring gracious words in your musical ministry, but when are you coming home? Your sound was born here in Australia so when will we hear you in Oz. I have been a fan since I first heard you sing Not Ashamed and it was broadcast as an Ad for Christian Television in Australia. You have many adoring fans still here and we want you to come home!! I took my daughter (who is eight) last night to see Join The Tribe Tour in Saginaw MI. AWESOME show! We were so glad to be able to have Peter there! I have been a Huge Newsboys fan, since the begining of the group. And ever since my daughter was old enough to sing, she has loved them too. She was really hoping to get to see Peter, since this was her first Newsboys concert. It meant a lot to her! The Newsboys GO album, has special meaning to my family. My husband was away last year serving in the US Army, and we missed him so much, and many of the songs from that album got us through our tough seperation. Ecspecailly “Stay Strong”. Thank you so much Newsboys for all your many great years of service, you have touched the lives of so many. And you got me through a really tough bunch of years when I was a teenager. You guys are fabulous! We enjoyed the concert last night so much! Duncan and Jeff were great! Everyone was! Peter we will deeply miss you!
