Australia’s national Christian music charts, The Rock Across Australia (TRAA), today named contemporary Christian music mainstay newsboys 2007 Artist of the Year, and recipient of the Song of the Year honor for Something Beautiful.

In 2007, the internationally acclaimed pop-rock quartet spent 13 weeks atop TRAA with Something Beautiful. Next March, newsboys is set to tour Australia for a series of concerts in Sydney, Adelaide, Melbourne, and Toowoomba.

The Rock Across Australia, better known as TRAA, compiles its weekly charts from playlists supplied by more than 20 of the nation’s largest Christian stations including FM103.2 (Sydney), Light FM (Melbourne), 96Five (Brisbane), Life FM (Adelaide), Sonshine FM (Perth), 96Three (Geelong), and the Vision Radio Network (national).
